IDRC Web Accessibility Review Services

Web Site Accessibility Audits
Accessibility audits include reviews of Web sites for compliance with AODA, W3C, U.S. Section 508, and U.S. ADA standards.

Web Site  Accessibility Consultation
One-on-one and small group consultations are available. Consultation can include a review of usability and accessibility issues, coverage of inclusive design strategies, and hands-on experience with assistive technology.

Training
Group training is available for both technical and non-technical audiences, and includes demonstrations of how people with disabilities use the Web, a review of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), practical examples of accessible and innaccessible Web content, hands on experience with assistive technologies, and design strategies that ensure maximum accessibility and usability. Group training is also offered on creating accessible office documents.

Vision Technology Service

The Vision Technology Service is a Regional Assessment Centre for High Technology Vision Aids for the Assistive Devices Program, a funding program run by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
